The Sinking Raft™ team building challenge uses creative problem solving and teamwork to move from the sinking raft to the safe raft, using only the included “driftwood.” Like other group initiative tasks, Sinking Raft™ is designed to offer “real” or “perceived” mental, physical, social and emotional challenges that are fun and rewarding. Within a trusting and supportive environment, these challenges are often successfully met through team problem solving.

The Sinking Raft activity guide includes step-by-step instructions on how to set-up and perform the three different challenges included. The groups are designed to engage approximately 9 students, depending on the age and size of participants. Sample processing questions and variations on the activities are also included. Platform bases are equipped with glides to protect floors.
